Community Bookshelves
Bringing Stories to Every Corner of Our Community
We believe everyone should have the chance to read, share, and discover books. Our Community Bookshelves are accessible, free, and always open. They’re installed in convenient locations and filled with books for all ages and interests.
Whether you’re looking for your next favorite read or have books to pass along, these shelves are here for you. Take a book. Leave a book. It’s that simple.

How It Works
- See a book you like? Take it! It’s yours to read and enjoy.
- Have a book to share? Leave it on any shelf: just be sure it’s in good condition and appropriate for a general audience.
Why It Matters
Books connect us. They inspire curiosity, empathy, and lifelong learning. Our Community Bookshelves aim to remove barriers to reading by making books accessible, free, and visible throughout the community we serve.
Together, we’re building a more literate, connected, and empowered community, one book at a time.
