Read with your child and enjoy new books every month!
If your child is under 5 years old, they can get a free book in the mail every month—just for them!
Each book is chosen for their age and sent right to your mailbox. You and your child can enjoy reading together and discover new stories every month until your child turns five.

Who Can Sign Up?
Children who live in the Lakes District, including Granisle and the Southside, can join this program.
Your child must live in this area to be eligible.

A donation of just $45 helps one child receive a free book in the mail every month for a full year!
Our Impact So Far
As of June 2025, Lakes Literacy has given out over 8,900 free books to children in the Lakes District—thanks to generous donors like you!
